Owner Susan Conte was first introduced to these mineral powders in 1998 while working at a well known Boston area spa. Impressed by the quality and finish imparted by these powders, she did her research and decided to carry nothing but these minerals in her travelling tool bag as she started her first business, The Makeup Maven of Salem, MA. Time and again the results were sheer perfection. Every bride, prom girl and special occasion client looked perfect in their photos. Susan knew if she ever started another business, there would be no question, these minerals would be a featured product.
In 2011, Susan started her current business, LUXE Beauty & Brows of Connecticut, while continuing to do freelance work for many luxury-brand beauty companies. She constantly compared the mineral makeup carried by these high end brands, but kept coming back to the same conclusion – the LUXE minerals were superior due to their high-quality, chemical free lightweight, and clean, finely milled formula which provided a flawless, perfected skin and complexion.

Our own high quality formula for flawless, perfected skin and complexion. LUXE Mineral Makeup applies easily in seconds, are very water resistant, won’t fade, and last all day. Finely milled, they are formulated with high grade materials – NO parabens, NO synthetic dyes, NO synthetic fragrance, NO fillers. And YES, they are all made right here in the USA. Raw minerals are cut in Canada and created into a formula and foundation in New York.
LUXE Mineral Makeup comes in a 10 gram container with sifter top and interior lock closure for convenience when travelling. Susan recommends that you lock-down the minerals when you feel there is too much powder in the sifter area. This will avoid waste. This mineral makeup can be applied with various brushes from fluffy to dense depending on what type of coverage you prefer. Our favorite brush is the LUXE Stipple & Blend Brush sold separately.

It works wonderfully for those with a combination to oily skin who need a matte finish for as long as possible. LUXE Mineral Makeup gives more of a "natural" finish, and never look dry or caked. Minimal touch-ups, if any, are needed throughout the day.
